Full terms and conditions for SweetNess HomeBakes are detailed below and by booking an order with me it will be deemed that the terms and conditions have been read, understood and accepted by you the customer.

Prices

All prices are non-negotiable and are priced according to your specific design and size of cake.

 

Payment

All payment must be made on the agreed dates. Failure to pay will result in your order being cancelled. Payment methods accepted are bank transfer, paypal or cash.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your order I reserve the right to retain your non-refundable deposit. If cancellation takes place less than 72 hours before the event I reserve the right to seek 100% of the order value. To cancel an order you need to contact me via email, and the cancellation will take effect from when the email is received.

If you postpone your event and require the cake at a later date, I will endeavour to accommodate your request, providing that the date is available to myself: otherwise it will be treated as a cancellation (please see paragraph above).

Design

It is your responsibility to thoroughly check the design details and quote provided. If you need to make amendments, these should be submitted by email as soon as possible.

I reserve the right to amend the design at any time if there are circumstances beyond my control that may compromise the finish of the cake (such as melting in hot weather).

Transporting your cake

When collecting your cake please ensure that you transport your cake either in the footwell or boot space. It is recommended that you keep these areas clean and clear before you arrive to collect your cake. Placing your cake on a seat, legs or any uneven surface, even on a short journey, may affect the stability and internal structure of your cake, which could result in irreparable damage.

On warmer days it is recommended to travel with the air conditioning on, or with windows open, to keep your cake in a cool environment.

We recommend that you take your cake directly to the venue, as any lengthy time in a vehicle may cause damage. If you take the cake home before transporting to venue, ensure that it is stored safely in the packaging provided, in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight.

Once at the venue, display the cake away from direct sunlight, and consume within recommended time.

Once your cake has left our premises, Sweetness HomeBakes are not liable for any damages incurred.
